About Hydroquinoine Cream USP

Hydroquinoine Cream USP is a skin-lightening agent used to treat conditions such as hyperpigmentation, melasma, age spots, and certain types of dark scars. This reduces the production of melanin in the skin by inhibiting the activity of the enzyme tyrosinase, which is involved in melanin synthesis. It works by inhibiting the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for the color of the skin, thereby lightening dark patches and evening out skin tone. Hydroquinoine Cream USP is commonly used to treat various skin conditions characterized by hyperpigmentation, including melasma (patchy brown discoloration of the skin), post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spots left after inflammation or injury), and age spots.
