Cyclomune 0.5% Sterile Eye Drop contains the active ingredient cyclosporine and is used to treat dry eye syndrome. They are indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye disease (keratoconjunctivitis sicca) in patients whose tear production is presumed to be suppressed due to ocular inflammation associated with keratoconjunctivitis sicca. It occurs when the eye does not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly, leading to discomfort, irritation, and inflammation of the eye's surface. Cyclomune 0.5% Sterile Eye Drop is an immunomodulatory medication that works by suppressing inflammation in the eye.
