About Allergan Lumigan Eye Drop

Allergan Lumigan Eye Drop is a medication primarily used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension by reducing intraocular pressure (IOP) within the eye. These drops are indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This works by increasing the drainage of aqueous humor (the fluid inside the eye), thereby reducing intraocular pressure. It belongs to a class of medications called prostaglandin analogs. Moreover, the Allergan Lumigan Eye Drop also may increase the outflow of fluid through the trabecular meshwork and uveoscleral pathways.
